YMC
Youth in the Move for Change (YMC) is Gambia’s 1st purely youth oriented organisation that was started with a vision to serve Gambia by a team of young energetic gambian citizens.
YMC improves the quality of life for young people and children, and also their families in the Gambia. At least 300 young people and children benefit from our services each year. We offer capacity building training to our members and participants in various areas.
Our Slogan
We are Gambia’s 1st and only youth oriented organisation which purely concentrates on the youth. Therefore we give a place for youth in our constitution or by laws as we are focusing on youth. We have finalized a slogan which is given below. The slogan is also visible in our YMC logo.

Our Beliefs
Serve the Humanity
We believe that every human is equal. Therefore we are here to serve the humanity without any discrimination of gender, race or color.
Develop the Youth
We believe that young people are pillars of any society. Therefore, we are on the mission to develop our youngsters by organising events such as national and international seminars, conferences and workshops on topics that are required by them. They can get the opportunity to explore and expand their knowledge. This helps them to develop themselves in order to represent the country and themselves positively in the world.
Promote the Country
As we all know the current situation of our country is very versed. That is why we believe that it’s not only duty but also our responsibility to promote our country everywhere. Therefore we are on the mission to promote our country and our people.
